Poly Diallyldimethylammonium Chloride Usage
Poly Diallyldimethylammonium Chlorideis a chemical substance with the molecular formula (C8H16NCl)n. It is a strong cationic polyelectrolyte with the appearance of colourless to light yellow viscous liquid. It is safe, non-toxic, soluble in water, non-flammable, strong cohesion, good hydrolytic stability, not a gel, insensitive to pH changes, and chlorine resistant. Freezing point is about -2.8℃, specific gravity is about 1.04 g/cm, decomposition temperature is 280-300℃.
Poly Diallyldimethylammonium Chloride has many uses:
1. As cationic coagulant in sewage treatment, mining and mineral processing;
2. In the textile industry as an aldehyde-free colour fixing agent;
3. As anionic waste capture agent and AKD maturation promoter in paper making process;
4. Used as clay stabiliser for drilling and cationic modifier for acid fracturing in water injection in oil field industry.
5. In addition, Poly Diallyldimethylammonium Chloride is also used as regulator, antistatic agent, humidifier, shampoo and skin care emollient.
