Magnesium Sulfate

Magnesium sulphate is a magnesium-containing compound with the chemical formula MgSO4, a commonly used chemical reagent and drying reagent, a colourless or white crystal or powder, odourless, bitter in taste and deliquescent.

Magnesium sulfate has a wide range of applications in many fields:

1. Agriculture: Magnesium sulphate can be used as a fertiliser and is particularly suitable for magnesium-deficient crops such as tomatoes, potatoes and roses. It is more effective than other fertilisers due to its high solubility.
2. Industry: Magnesium sulphate also has many uses in industry, such as making tannery, papermaking, porcelain and so on.

Transport precautions: the package should be complete at the time of shipment, and the loading should be stable. During transport, make sure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall or get damaged. It is strictly prohibited to mix with oxidising agents and edible chemicals. During transport, it should be protected from exposure to the sun, rain and high temperature.

In addition, the appearance of magnesium sulphate is white crystalline solid, the melting point is 1124 ℃, the density is 2.66 g/mL.In terms of safety, the hazards of magnesium sulphate are described as:Relevant safety measures need to be followed, such as S22 (Avoid inhalation of dust) and S24/25 (Avoid contact with skin and eyes).
