Potassium dihydrogen phosphate

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (PotassiumPhosphateMonobasic) is a chemical with a chemical formula of KH2PO4 and a molecular weight of 136.09. It is mainly used to prepare buffer solutions, determine arsenic, antimony, phosphorus, aluminum and iron, prepare phosphorus standard solutions, prepare culture media, etc. In addition, it can also be used to determine inorganic phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase activity in serum.

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is stable in the air, with a melting point of 252.6℃, a density of 2.338g/mL, and an appearance of colorless crystals or white granular powder. It is insoluble in ethanol, but has good solubility in water, 83.5g/100ml water. It should be sealed during storage.

The following points should be noted when using potassium dihydrogen phosphate:

1. Storage environment: It should be stored in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature. The temperature of the storage environment should be kept below 30℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 75%.

2. Packaging container: The packaging container of potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be airtight, moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant. Commonly used packaging materials include plastic barrels, metal barrels and wooden boxes. The packaging container should be inspected before use to ensure that there is no damage or leakage.
