Advantages(by comparison with the existing aluminum coagulants)
1. Poly ferric sulfate has good coagulation function with thick flocs and fast sedimentation.
2. Very good decoloring effect, high remove rate of COD.
3. High efficiency of sludge dehydration.
4. Strong deodorizing and removal of heavy metals.
5. Strong function on dephosphorization, sterilization and deoiling etc.
6. Low corrosion to equipment.
7. Less dosage, low treatment cost.
Poly ferric sulfate should be dissolved in water in the proportion of 10%-20% before using. The needed dosage depends on the water condition, better to do a test with beaker first.
The applicable PH value is 7-10, to get better effection, please adjust the PH value to 7-10 before using.

Polyferric sulfate (PFS) is a chemical compound primarily used as a coagulant in water treatment processes.

Polyferric sulfate (PFS) is a chemical compound that serves as a powerful coagulant and flocculant in water treatment applications. It is derived from the polymerization of ferric sulfate and ferric hydroxide, resulting in a highly effective agent for the purification of water and wastewater. PFS is known for its ability to remove suspended solids, organic matter, and color from water, making it a crucial tool in both municipal and industrial settings.

In water treatment processes, PFS works by destabilizing particles suspended in water, causing them to clump together (coagulation) and form larger aggregates called flocs (flocculation). These flocs can then be easily removed through filtration or sedimentation, thereby improving water clarity and quality.

Due to its chemical properties and effectiveness, PFS finds wide application in municipal water treatment plants for drinking water purification and in industrial sectors such as papermaking, textile manufacturing, and food processing for wastewater treatment. It is typically supplied in liquid form and is dosed into water systems using specialized equipment to ensure optimal treatment efficiency.

Overall, Polyferric sulfate plays a vital role in maintaining clean water supplies and meeting environmental standards by facilitating the removal of contaminants and improving the overall quality of treated water. Its versatility and effectiveness make it a preferred choice for various water treatment applications worldwide.
