Activated carbon pellet

 

Activated carbon pellet is made of high-quality coal, coconut shells, and sawdust as raw materials and is refined using advanced technology. Its appearance is black amorphous particles.

 

It mainly includes coal-based columnar activated carbon and wood-based columnar activated carbon (wood includes coconut shell and wood):

1. Wooden columnar activated carbon is mainly used for:

1)Vapor phase adsorption

2)Recycling of organic solvents (recycling of benzene gases toluene, xylene, acetone in the acetate fiber industry, recycling of CS2 in viscose short fiber production, etc.)

3)Removal of impurities and harmful gases, this technology reaches the first-class level in China.

 

2. Coal-based columnar activated carbon: used for purification of toxic gases, waste gas treatment, industrial and domestic water purification, solvent recovery, etc.

 

Advantages of columnar activated carbon:

1. Due to the use of high-quality sawdust and coconut shells as raw materials, the columnar activated carbon has lower ash content, less impurities, gas phase adsorption value and CTC than traditional coal-based columnar carbon.

2. Coal columnar activated carbon has the advantages of developed void structure, large specific area, strong adsorption capacity, high mechanical strength, small bed resistance, good chemical stability, easy regeneration, and durability.

3. The pore size distribution of the product is reasonable, achieving maximum adsorption and desorption, thus greatly extending the service life of the product (average 2-3 years), which is 1.4 times that of ordinary coal-based charcoal.

 

Activated carbon pellet can be used for the following purposes:

1. Vapor phase adsorption;

2. Organic solvent recovery (benzene gas toluene, acetone recovery in the acetate fiber industry);

3. Removal of impurities and harmful gases, and recycling of waste gas;

4. Recycling of excess gasoline in refineries, gas stations, and oil depots;

5. Used in activated carbon to catalyze the removal of HCl from tetrachloroethane to prepare trichlorethylene.
