The main methods of using ferrous sulfate to improve soil quality

01. Dilute watering

Dilute ferrous sulfate 1000 times and pour it directly into the soil. Use once every 1 to 2 months, the specific frequency is adjusted according to the growth rate of the plant. This method is suitable for soils that are already alkaline.

02.Shallow burial method

Bury ferrous sulfate granules shallowly around the edge of the pot. This method is suitable for preventing the soil from becoming alkaline and can be done when the pot soil is dry.

03. Spray onto the leaves. Ferrous sulfate mixed with water can be sprayed on the leaf surface, which is suitable for soil improvement and plant nutrient supplementation under specific circumstances.

04.Mixed with organic fertilizer

Mixing ferrous sulfate with organic fertilizer can improve its effectiveness and reduce potential harm to plants.

Precautions:

When using ferrous sulfate, be careful not to use too much to avoid damage the plants. Also, avoid spraying directly on leaves to reduce the risk of leaf burn. Before use, it is best to conduct a soil test to determine the appropriate dosage.
